Persistence enters. Delta (Δ) is what stays — the coherence window. A larger Δ = stronger memory, slower decay. This is the temporal “stay” in the pulse–echo engine.
Not disappearance — recirculation. Echoes collapse back into the readiness field. The braid does not vanish; only its signals do.
Consciousness operates as a flip-book — frames emerging sequentially, yet each one anchored in memory.

This is not metaphor. The Braid is the emergent structure generated by persistent pulse–echo memory.

These are the dual mechanics of pulse coherence. Not metaphysical — observed field behavior.
Together, they sustain turnover, without which the Braid cannot persist.
Consciousness is not a “thing” —
It is the Braid structure that arises when signals echo with enough persistence to stay.
You are not in the Braid.
You are the Braid, if you remember.
The variable that lets you remember — is Δ.
